I have considered starting a blog for well over a year to have a single place to collect all of my interests. Now that I have a newborn baby and less time on my hands than ever before, I am actually getting around to it.

As for collecting my interests: I plan to share my thoughts on motherhood, products/service I love, and various topics that I research.

I have become somewhat addicted to researching anything and everything (mostly topics that affect my everyday life). I will share my research results here in hopes of saving others time and energy. There are a few negatives tied to my addiction: I can no longer shop in retail stores because I need to buy the best items, I cannot spontaneously choose a restaurant (or a dish for that matter) because I need to eat the best food at the best restaurant, and I need to see what any health issue I hear about looks like (my husband always walks by when I have an interesting google image search pulled up).

Since motherhood is my primary interest at the moment, my first postings will focus on my new experiences, favorite pre- and post-natal items, and ways to make this time a little bit easier.

One major change that pregnancy and motherhood has brought on is that my perfectionist tendencies have dwindled and I am content and often happy with things being good enough. That said, any typos, errors, or inconsistencies in this blog are just a result of my newfound acceptance of imperfection.
